Hello,

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog! I've created this site to explain in more detail the ideas behind and process toward all the websites, graphics, and other multimedia designs I create.  I'll be breaking down each project from start to finish to give you an idea of how I work.  Feel free to comment or email me (renix86 at gmail dot com) if you'd like to chat about any of my work.

In case you haven't met me yet, my name is Rachel Nix.  I aspire to be a rockstar web designer working in the entertainment industry incorporating my love of the internet and design with my passion for indie rock music.  I've worked for television and radio for most of college in web and have done several internships in the industry.  I've been a Manager at WCRD, Ball State's student-run radio station, for 2 years working as Web Manager and Music Director as well as the occasional DJ shift.  I work as Multimedia Director for Cardinal Vision 57, BSU's student-run TV station as well.  I've done just about everything from audio, music videos, video games, computer science, web, multimedia, and graphic design in my 4 years at Ball State. I will graduate in May of 2008 and will be working to find a job to hone my skills and stay young and fresh in the design industry.  Please take a look at the examples on the left and check out my resume below to learn more about me!
